Enroll a mobile device in VMware Workspace ONE and create a compliance policy to ensure it has a passcode, taking action if the policy is violated.

Log into the Workspace ONE console.
Enroll a test device:
Download the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub app on a mobile device (iOS/Android).
Open the app, enter the server URL (provided in the trial email), and follow prompts to enroll.
Create a compliance policy:
Go to Devices > Compliance Policies > List View and click Add.
Platform: Select your device type (e.g., Android).
Rule: Add "Device Passcode" > "Is Not Configured".
Action: "Mark as Non-Compliant" (or quarantine if available).
Save and assign to all devices.
Test the policy:
Remove the passcode from the enrolled device and wait for the console to update.
Check the device status in the console; it should be marked as non-compliant after removing the passcode.
Use the cloud-based console (no local install needed) or deploy the on-premises version if offered.
Follow the trial email instructions to access the console and configure your environment.
Deploy Microsoft Outlook from the Workspace ONE catalog to an enrolled device.
Log into the Workspace ONE console.
Add the application:
Go to Apps & Books > Applications > Native > Public.
Click Add Application, select the platform (e.g., Android or iOS).
Search for "Microsoft Outlook", configure settings, and click Save & Assign.
Assign the app:
Select a smart group (e.g., "All Devices").
Set App Delivery Method to "Auto".
Click Save & Publish.
Test on the device:
Ensure the enrolled device syncs with Workspace ONE.
Check the device for Microsoft Outlook.
In the console, go to Devices > List View, and verify the app status.
Enroll a test device beforehand.
Accept installation prompts on iOS devices.
